About 2B Contracting LLC

2B Contracting LLC is a selective, owner-operated general contracting firm based in Somers Point, NJ, serving homeowners along the South Jersey Shore. We specialize in premium renovations and custom construction for second-home owners — people who own a shore house but don't live here full-time and need a contractor they can trust to run the entire project in their absence. We're not a volume company. Rob Blevin and Bill Blair are personally involved in every project we take on. We keep the client list short and the work quality high. Why We Built 2B the Way We Did

Most shore homes are owned by people who live somewhere else. They've worked hard for that home. It's where their family makes summer memories. And yet when it comes time to renovate, they often end up with a contractor who doesn't communicate, doesn't show up on schedule, and doesn't treat the home the way they would if they lived there. We started 2B Contracting to do it differently. Rob spent years in project management and client-side communication. Bill has been in the field for decades — carpentry, framing, finish work, and coastal construction. Together, we built a company around two principles: every project gets owner attention from start to finish, and the client always knows what's happening. Phone calls, photo updates, digital selections, scheduled check-ins — whatever it takes so you're never in the dark about your own home. We take on a limited number of full-scope projects each year. That's intentional. It's the only way we can deliver the experience we want every client to have.

Rob leads every client relationship at 2B Contracting from the first consultation through the final walkthrough. His focus is on clear communication, structured scheduling, and making sure every project
stays on track — especially for clients who aren’t local. Rob handles permits, supplier coordination, trade scheduling, and the weekly updates that keep out-of-town owners confident that their home is being cared for.

Bill Blair

Co-Owner | Field Operations and Master Carpenter



Bill leads field operations and sets the craftsmanship standard at 2B Contracting. With decades of hands-on experience in carpentry, framing, and finish work, he knows what coastal construction requires — from proper installation techniques to material choices that hold up to salt air and humidity. Bill is on site daily and personally oversees every detail that gets built.

About the Owners

The owners of 2B Contracting LLC, Rob and Bill, bring a hands-on approach to project management, personally overseeing each job to ensure every trade and detail aligns with the client’s vision. They’re known for clear, responsive communication and creative problem-solving on complex coastal projects, coordinating schedules and craftsmen to deliver on time and within budget.
